삶의 외로움을 군장성의 딸이었던 신형원은 간단하면서도 호소력짙은 목소리로 잘 표현하고 있디. 가지마라며 날 위해 한번만 노랠 해달라며 소원하다 울며 잠든다는 가사는 인간의 근복적 고독의 미와 앞으로 다가올 그 고독으로 인한 성숙까지 드라마틱한 멜로디로 암시해 주는듯 하다.
