Why are there so many hard core communists in Korean politics????
SK had been governed by right wing since it gained independence from 1945.  SK turned to even more right after the Korean War.  However, after 1993, things started to change drastically.  All presidents since then, with exception of current President Park, came from those that were heavily involved in left wing student movements in 70s and 80s.  These presidents started hiring left leaning, opportunistic communists to government positions: prosecutors, judges, educators, media personnel, journalists, military personnel, ect...  And, even the ruling so-called right wing party became left leaning. 
When the media made scandal broke out last year, left occupied congress impeached President Park without trial nor fact finding proves.  Now the case went to the Korean constitutional court.  But, many Korean judges are politically motivated.  Even these people are tainted. 
Because so many people in government are NK sympathizers, many Koreans fear that South Korea may fall, if Park is not reinstated soon.
So, the drama continues...
